using?
A. Microsoft SQL 2000 is the current standard database offering
with all of our hosting services.
Q. How do I access my database(s) as a Netcetera customer?
A. All shared database service customers are given database owner
privileges (DBO) and perform all database maintenance with Microsoft
SQL Enterprise Manager. Shared database service customers will need
to contact [email protected] to create new databases.
Dedicated and Clustered Service customers have console access to
their SQL servers via Remote Desktop and perform all database maintenance
with Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager as a Database Administrator.
Q. Do you fully support Visual InterDev with Microsoft
SQL server?
A. Yes. You are able to take full advantage of Visual InterDev
when working with Microsoft SQL Server.
Q. Do you support ADO (ActiveX Database Objects) and RDS
(Remote Data Objects)?
A. Yes we do support both ADO and RDS.
Q. How do I connect to my SQL database?
A. We support the use of DSN and DSNless connections. You can use
Visual Interdev 6.0, I_SQL, and SQL Enterprise Manager to modify
the database, create stored procedures, and maintain the database.
